Rabeh El-Eter, President of Division One League side Inter Allies FC, has been named the Chairman of the newly formed Division One Super Cup Committee. This appointment marks a significant step in strengthening the organisation of the off-season competition for Division One League (DOL) clubs.
Rabeh El-Eter brings over two decades of experience in football administration and management, having successfully steered Inter Allies FC and contributed to the development of the Ghanaian game at various levels. His leadership is expected to enhance the competitiveness and visibility of the annual DOL Super Cup.
He will be assisted by Richard Osei Akoto, the Administrator for Asante Kotoko SC, who has been named Vice Chairman of the Committee. Osei Akoto’s background in club administration will be instrumental in the planning and execution of the competition.
Other members of the committee include Francis Ofori Mensah, CEO of Port City FC; Abdul Rahman Yakubu of Vision FC; Paa Kwesi Arbuah, CEO of New Edubiase United; Mohammed Alhassan, former Hearts of Oak NCC Organiser; and Evans Kyere Kwame, each bringing diverse experience from across Ghana’s football ecosystem.
The Division One League Super Cup Committee is tasked with overseeing the organisation of the off-season competition for DOL clubs ahead of every new season. The competition offers clubs an opportunity to test their squads, improve fitness levels, and engage fans before the league campaign begins.
With Rabeh El-Eter at the helm, the GFA is confident the upcoming edition of the DOL Super Cup will deliver a more professional and competitive experience for clubs and fans alike.
