Intellectuals hold Hasaacas Ladies, Faith Ladies beat Ladystrikers in Cape Coast

Soccer Intellectuals put up a spirited performance to curtail the winning streak of leaders Hasaacas Ladies at the Ajumako Eduyaw Assasan Park.

Hasaacas had won all their games preceding this fixture and made giant strides in grabbing the points - but Intellectuals frustrated them to a draw.

The host took the game to their opponent right from the blast of the whistle hoping to get an early goal to unsettle the visitors.

Forward Mukarama Abdulai had a very quite afternoon as the defence of Intellectuals ensured that the necessary supplies does not get to her.

Both sides showed hunger after the break but the tempo of the game dropped as it became a dingdong battle with Soccer Intellectuals pulling the breaks on the former Champions.

In Cape Coast- Ladystrikers suffered yet another home defeat to Faith Ladies to extend their winless run to four this season.

Ladystrikers scored first in the 19th minutes through a strike from Maria Olamumi Abdullabir. But Alice Longdon drove one in for the visitors to draw them level inside 43 minutes.

Alice, again scored before the break to give Faith Ladies a 2-1 lead before th3 break.

Ladystrikers had opportunities to equalise and even go ahead to win the contest after Faith Ladies' Gifty Dwamena Akonobea was sent off in the 72nd minute but they blew away all the chances as Faith Ladies held on to win the game.

In Accra- Berry Ladies left it late to force a draw against Army Ladies at Teshie Mats Park.

Vera Bema put Army Ladies in the lead in the 21st minute. But Fakyiha Alhassan scored  in 95th minute to break the hearts of Army Ladies.
