Ghana international Patrick Agyemang will miss out of a greater part Queens Park Rangers' Championship run-in due to injury.

The 30-year-old striker is expected to be out for around four months after suffering a stress fracture of the tibia which means he may struggle to return before the season ends.

Agyemang has scored twice in 14 substitute appearances this season as QPR are top of the Championship table.

The ex-Wimbledon trainee joined the Hoops in a £350,000 move from Preston in January 2008 and made an immediate impact, scoring nine goals in 17 appearances to help Rangers avoid relegation.
