Ibrahim Sulemana will leave camp tonight and return to Bologna for further assessment on the injury he picked up before the 2026 qualifier against Chad on Thursday.
The midfielder sustained an injury to his right knee during training in N'Djamena on Wednesday and couldn’t feature for Ghana in the game on Thursday. He is also not available for the match against Mali, hence his early release from camp to return to Italy for further assessment.
His place has been taken by Spain-based midfielder Kwasi Sibo, who arrived in camp on Saturday morning to join the rest of the squad for preparations towards the game on Monday.
The Ghana Football Association wishes Sulemana a speedy recovery.
