Ibrahim Suleman inspires Hasaacas to victory over Edubiase

Sekondi Hasaacas registered their 4th win of the season in a 3:1 win over New Edubiase in Essipong.

The visitors, who had done well in their recent away matches, were proving to be a tough nut for Hasaacas to crack but two quick second goals after a 1:1 first half stalemate settled the game for Hasaacas.

Hasaacas set an early tone for victory with Ibrahim Suleman scoring an early opener in the 6th minute.

But Edubiase showed their tough character on the road, and hit back through Prince Opoku Antwi.

But the visitors couldn't sustain their verve, and they were hit with two quick goals afyer the break.

Eric Bekoe restored Hasaacas' lead three mInutes after the break, before Ibrahim Suleman grabbed his brace by hitting the third for Hasaacas.

The win takes Hasaacas out of the relegation zone to 12th on the table, whiles New Edubiase.

In other matches, Ashantigold and Bechem United settled for a goalless draw at the Len Clay Stadium.

It was a frustrating draw for the defending champions, who have now slipped down into the bottom three.

At Sogakope, WAFA also shared th points with Inter Allies after a 0:0 draw.
