Suleymana Fahadu and Issah Ibrahim scored three second half goals to ensure that Dreams FC continued their unbeaten run in 2021 with a 3-0 win against WAFA at the theatre of Dreams at Dawu on Wednesday afternoon.

Issah Ibrahim scored a second half brace after a Suleyemana Fahadu opener to give Dreams FC their third straight home win on match day 12 of the Ghana Premier League.

The home side started brightly and could have taken the lead after just two minutes when striker Joseph Esso was sent through, but WAFA were equal to the task. Esso had a goal turned down ten minutes later for an offside.

Dreams FC lost steel in the latter stages of the first half and allowed WAFA to dominate proceedings but the Academy boys failed to make the dominance count, ending the first half goalless.

Dreams FC broke the deadlock in the 54th through Sulemana Fahadu, who unleashed an absolute belter to hand Dreams the lead.

Issah Ibrahim scored the second goal for Dreams FC with a simple tap in inside 53 minutes.

And with the game almost over, Ibrahim added his second to make it 3-0 for Dreams in the 94th minute.

The win extends Dreams FC unbeaten run to six games under Serbian trainer Vladislav Viric, the longest unbeaten streak by a team in this season’s League.
