Herbert Addo admits that meeting Nigeria in the Wafu Cup will be a great challenge for his Black Stars side gunning for the title.

The Black Stars are already into the semi-finals of the competition presently taking place in Nigeria after two wins ahead of the final group B game with Burkina Faso.

A 3-0 win over Liberia handed Ghana a place in the last four as Addo can now freshen up his side with the competition heading for the crucial stages.

Nigeria's form in the competition hasn't gone unnoticed with the Ghana coach explaining that the quality of football by the hosts means a fixture between both sides will be exciting.

"Ghana and Nigeria are branded as brothers but when it comes to the pitch, it's a different story. On Friday, I saw Nigeria demolish Benin and I have learnt one or two things. We are looking forward to meeting Nigeria if the chance comes because what I saw is a great challenge coming from Nigerian team led by Amokachi who I have always admired even when he was a player," Addo said.

Ghana are looking to defend the title they won in the first edition.
