Hearts of Oak missed the chance to go top in the Glo Premier League after Mahatma Otoo saw a penalty fly over the crossbar in a 0-0 draw at home.

With rivals, Kotoko crushing to defeat in Bekwai, Hearts who kicked off at the Accra Sports Stadium 30 minutes later failed to pick all three points against Aduana Stars.

Seth Opare felled an opponent in the Aduana box but Otoo could not beat Stephen Adams in the post as his shot went over the crossbar on the stroke on halftime.

Had the penalty gone in and Hearts won, the Phobians would have gone top.

Hearts are third on the log though level on points with Kotoko and Chelsea, who are in second place.
