The clash between reigning champions Aduana Stars and former champions Hearts of Oak is the pick of a full fixtures for the weekend's Glo Premier League action which enters match-day-3.

Both sides would battle for the three points as coach Herbert Addo's side seek to maintain their 100 percent start to the new season, having won both games so far.

Hearts, smarting from last Sunday's loss in Sekondi would aim to prevent another defeat in a game which could go either way.

One point from a possible six in two games has not dented the ambitions of Mighty Jets in their debut season in Ghana football's first tier competition.

The Tudu-based club has this week been in the news backing head-coach E.K Afranie who has come under a barrage of attack from fans of the club.

For Afranie, Jets' clash with Asante Kotoko - who appear to have found their spark after an opening defeat - on Sunday represents a bigger test as his critics would be eagerly awaiting the outcome of the game in Kumasi with some relish.

But the CEO of Mighty Jets, Jordan Anargblah says his side, who go into the battle at the Baba Yara Stadium are the underdogs but would attempt to cause an upset.

"It's a big game and playing against Kotoko would not be easy but we are the underdogs here.

"We respect the opposition we would be facing but would attempt to fly and cause an upset. We would be motivated for the game," Jordan said on Friday.

An upset could also the turn heat on Kotoko coach, Ebo Mends, whom despite their 4-0 hammering of Liberty Professionals last weekend is still considered by some fans of the club as the wrong man for the job.

The derby game at the Golden City Park between Chelsea and Berekum Arsenals could go either way as both sides go head-to-head in search of a first win of the season.

All Stars face AshantiGold at the Wa Park with both sides level on four points. The Blues appear stronger at home but the Miners can always spring a surprise.

Ebusua Dwarfs lock horns with Heart of Lions at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast, a game that the Kpando side are likely to claim all three points.

After an impressive start to their debut campaign, B.A. Stars would welcome Real Tamale United to the Coronation Park. RTU have claimed just a point after two games and would try to prevent a defeat.

King Faisal, occupying the last from bottom position travel to the Gyemfis Park in Bekwai to battle New Edubiase, who have made a great start to the season.

Bottom-placed Liberty Professionals take on Kessben FC at the Carl Reindorf grounds in Dansoman to wrap up the weekend's match fixtures.
