Hasaacas Ladies secured their place in the Women’s FA Cup final after a solid 3–0 victory over Jonina FC in the semi-final at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday evening.
The match started with high intensity as both sides looked to take control early. However, it was Hasaacas Ladies who struck first. In the 6th minute, Millot Abena Pokua found the breakthrough with a composed finish to give her side an early lead.
Jonina FC tried to respond by pushing forward and creating attacking opportunities, but the Hasaacas Ladies defense remained organized and disciplined, preventing them from finding the equalizer.
Hasaacas Ladies continued to threaten going forward and their pressure paid off again in the 38th minute where Millot Abena Pokua grabbed her second goal of the match, doubling the advantage for Hasaacas Ladies and putting them firmly in control before halftime.
In the second half, Jonina FC showed determination and fought to get back into the game, but they struggled to break down a well-structured Hasaacas Ladies backline.
Hasaacas Ladies managed the game effectively and added a third in extra time through Mary Opoku Ndali.
At the final whistle, it was Hasaacas Ladies who celebrated a deserved 3–0 and into the Women’s FA Cup final.
