
Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan marked his return from injury with a goal when he scored for his French side Rennes over the weekend.
Gyan, playing for the reserve side of Rennes help them to a 2-1 win over Valves in his first game for the club in over four months.
The 22-year-old had been out of action since August because of a thigh injury.
Gyan struck the winner late in the game after converting a penalty when he was brought down in the box.
The striker joined Rennes in a four-year-deal from Serie A club Udinese in July.
