English premiership side, Arsenal are reported to be ready to sign £5 million-rated Marseille and Ghana wonderkid Andre Ayew, the THE SUN reports.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been trailing Ayew — son of African legend Abebi Pele — all season.

Wenger faces a race to sign the left-winger as he is at the African Nations with Ghana and the transfer window shuts before the cup finishes.

Ayew, 18, netted 11 goals last term.

A source close to the player said: “Arsenal have sent scouts to watch him almost every week.”
