The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) is scheduled to hold its Ordinary Congress on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the CLOGSAG (Nathan Quao) Auditorium starting at 10:00 AM.

GARFA Chairman Samuel Aboabire will preside over the Congress, which is a significant event in the region’s football calendar, marking the beginning of the upcoming 2025/26 football season.

Key stakeholders, including club representatives, referees, and various members of the regional football community, will be attending.

The Congress will tackle important issues related to the administration, development, and financial management of football in the Greater Accra Region.

In addition to laying the groundwork for the new season, the Congress will outline plans for organizing and executing a range of competitions, including youth football, women’s football, and grassroots initiatives, all designed to promote football development within the region.
