Heart of Lions and Great Olympics have been relegated to the second tier after they finished at 14th and 15th respectively at the end of the 2014/15 First Capital Plus Premier League season.

The two sides will join BA United who finished bottom on the League log.

Despite their 2-1 win over league leaders Ashantigold in the final round of matches played on Sunday, Olympics finished with 40 points.

Heart of Lions also finished with 40 points at 14th position with Olympics at 15th.

Though their victory party was nearly marred due to the final day defeat to Olympics, Ashantigold received the First Capital Plus Premier League trophy on Sunday after they finished top of the table with 52 points.

Aduana Stars who were thrashed 4-0 by Asante Kotoko on the final day ended the season at second position while Kotoko finished at 6th with 42 points.

Berekum Chelsea's Kofi Owusu finished as the league's top scorer after Sunday’s brace in the 2-1 win over Wa All Stars which takes his tally to 19.

WAFA survived the relegation scare after they held Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw at the Sogakope park on Sunday.

The Phobians ended the season at 4th position while WAFA finished at 11th with just a point more than relegated Great Olympics and Lions.
