Premier League leaders, Wa All Stars Stars kicked off the second round of the Ghana Premier League in winning ways to maintain top spot in the league table.
All Stars were in no mood to surrender the top spot, and Abdul Ganiu's goal was enough to hand them all three points.

In Cape Coast, Ebusua Dwarfs boosted their hopes of moving out of the bottom part of the table in the second round with a lone goal defeat of Liberty Professionals. Christopher Bonney converted a 2nd half penalty to hand the home side the crucial win.
New Edubiase too returned to winning ways after pipping African Cup campaigners, Medeama SC by a lone goal in Obuasi. Godfred Asiamah was the hero, as his 38th minute goal seperated the two sides.
WAFA deepened the woes of Ashantigold this season with a 2:1 defeat of the miners in Sogakope. Martin Antwi and Charles Boateng gave WAFA a comfortable two-goal lead, before Shafiu Mumuni scored late in the second half for Ashantigold.
In Tema, Inter Allies pipped Hasaacas by a lone goal in a match played behind closed doors following an order by the Disciplinary Committee.
