GNPC urges Black Stars excel against South Africa

Ghana Natonal Petroleum Company (GNPC), have offered support to the Black Stars ahead today's 2015 AFCON final group stage match against South Africa.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Headline Sponsors of the Black Stars urged the team to win against the South Africans and qualify to the next stage of the tournament.

"The Board and Management of GNPC, Headline Sponsor of the Black Stars, are proud of your performance against your Algerian counterparts at Mongomo on Friday.

"Ahead of that encounter, we urged you to make it a new beginning. You did just that. And we congratulate you for it."

"May we remind you once again that in your last appearance at AFCON 2013, you emerged among the Best Four soccer nations of Africa."

"We therefore urge you to rise to reclaim your rightful place. And South Africa must not stop your rise."

"You have done it before, and we know you can do it again at AFCON 2015", the statement signed by Mr. Alex Mould (A. Chief Executive) read.
