GNPC believes Black Stars will realize Brazil dream

Headline sponsor of the Black Stars are backing the national team to realize their World Cup qualification dream.

Ghana come up against Egypt later on Tuesday in the return leg of the play-off in Cairo as the Black Stars close in on qualification.

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), in a statement on Tuesday stated that their belief in the team to progress to the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil.

“By your 6-1 emphatic victory over the Pharaohs of Egypt in the first leg of the qualifier play-off, you soared high above your opponents towards Brazil 2014,” said Mr. Alex Mould, GNPC Chief Executive.

“You have been a dependable partner to GNPC and Ghanaians on this journey. We know you can, and urge you to triumph over the Pharaohs in Cairo, to complete this qualifying mission in style - Brazil 2014 beckons.”

The Black Stars lead the tie 6-1 after a thumping first-leg triumph in Kumasi last month. The aggregate winner qualifies for next year's finals in Brazil.
