Ghana unveils new Puma jersey

The Black Stars will unveil kit sponsor, Puma’s new v1.08 designed jersey at the 2008 African Cup of Nations which kicks off on Sunday.

Ghana, who will get the tournament’s first match underway at the Ohene Djan Stadium against Guinea in Group A would display the new kit designed by the kit manufacturer.

FA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi together with Puma President, Jochen Zeitz showed off the black and white home jersey on Friday and it comes with the Ghana Football Association’s logo in 3D on the left upper chest.

It also shows Puma’s Cat logo is on the right upper chest and on both shoulders.

The jersey has solid upper back fabric and double-layer mesh on front, sleeves and lower back.

Also there’s a contrast side insert and sleeve tipping.

Puma entered into a sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association in 2005 and have remained proud of the African side since the agreement was signed in Accra.
