Ghana’s U-15 Girls’ team will converge at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram to step up preparations for the 2025 WAFU B African Schools Football Championship, scheduled to take place in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from November 29 to December 4, 2025.
A 37-player provisional squad will assemble at the GFA technical centre, where the team will engage in intensive training sessions and team-building exercises as part of their title defence campaign.
The young Ghanaian side travels to Burkina Faso as defending champions, having lifted both the WAFU B African Schools Football Championship trophy in Niger and the CAF African Schools Football Championship crown on home soil in Accra last year.
Expectations are high as the team aims to replicate its stellar performances and reaffirm Ghana’s dominance in youth football across the sub-region. The technical team will focus on tactical refinement, fitness and cohesion to ensure the squad is fully prepared for the challenge ahead.
The CAF African Schools Football Championship forms part of CAF’s broader initiative to develop grassroots football across the continent, offering young players a platform to showcase their talent and gain invaluable international experience.
With their impressive record and solid preparation plan, Ghana’s U-15 Girls are poised to mount a strong defence of their title and continue flying the nation’s flag high in West African youth football.
