Ghana's first away game in the 2010 CAN/World Cup qualifier against Lesotho will rather be played in Bloemfontein, South Africa instead of Maseru.

The change in venue is as result of the home team’s decision to switch all of its home matches in Group 5 to the southern African country.

The Lesotho Football Association put in a request to play their 2010 CAN/World Cup qualifiers in neighbouring South Africa, a proposal which was accepted by the National Executive Committee of Safa on Friday.

Lesotho will now host their first home match against the Black Stars in the qualifying series on June 7-8 at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Bloemfontein before playing the remaining two home games in Group 5 to Libya and Gabon at the same venue.

Earlier, Ghana were billed to play the Likuena (Crocodiles) in the second group match in Maseru, the capital of Lesotho.

The Black Stars begin their qualifying campaign at home on June 1 against Libya.
