Ghana would be looking for the crucial victory which could hand them a spot in the quarter-finals of the Women's Under-17 World Cup when they play Costa Rica on Tuesday in the final group match.

Despite their qualification hopes pinned on a victory in Wellington, the Black Maidens also have an interest in the outcome of the other group game between Germany, who have already qualified and Korea DPR to be played Hamilton.

Ghana would seek to navigate their own course against Costa Rica first while hoping Germany return to their best to claim victory when they play the Koreans.

The Koreans, with four points, lie ahead of the Black Maidens, who are third on the table with one point. Despite the point difference, the Koreans can be overhauled by the Ghanaians who come up against a winless Costa Rica side.

Ghana showed the character to rally back in the two previous games but this time, Black Maidens coach, Abraham Allotey expects the girls to find the target more often and seal a good win.
