Ghana's delegation in Brazil have been inspecting the Black Stars' proposed base and facilities for next year's World Cup finals.

Kwesi Appiah who is part of the inspection team discovered on Friday afternoon who his side face and where they will play in the tournament.

The Black Stars are paired in Group G with Germany, Portugal and the United States with matches scheduled to be played in Natal, Fortaleza and Brasilia.

Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi says the team will evaluate all the sites before deciding on the best to serve the Black Stars' needs.

“We are looking for a team base camp and that has taken us to three or four hotels,” Kwesi Nyantakyi said.

“We will do an evaluation of all the hotels we have visited and then select the most appropriate one for the team baring in mind the criteria we have for selecting a team base camp.”

The Black Stars begin the group campaign against USA on 16 June in Natal before meeting Germany five days later in Fortaleza.

Ghana will conclude the first round fixtures with a game against Portugal Brasilia on June 26.
