Women's team coach Anthony Edusei remains confident of guiding Ghana past the Second Round stage in the qualifying for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The Black Queens must overturn a 1-0 first leg deficit against Ethiopia on Saturday at the El-Wak Stadium to stand a chance of a place in the next round.

Edusei, who would be without the suspended goalkeeper Memunatu Sulemana and Ama Saabi has already bolstered his squad with the promotion of three players from the U-20 side.

Mercy Mylers, Nana Ama Asantewaa and Linda Addai have joined the Black Queens for the crucial qualifier.

“We had two players sent off in the first leg and it’s important we get replacement and we believe they’ve come off age and will be good addition for the team,” Edusei said.

“We know the opposition will be tough but we’ll give off our best and ensure we qualify to the next round.”

Eight teams remain in the hunt for the continent's two qualifying places for the 2012 London Olympics.

The Black Queens missed out of the 2008 Beijing Olympics after losing in the final play-off fixture to Brazil.
