Ghana were denied an important win in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying after Guinea came from behind to draw the game 1-1 on Saturday.

Captain Asamoah Gyan scored for Ghana in the 26th minute of the match switched to Moroccan city Casablanca because of the Ebola epidemic.

Gyan was put through by Jordan Ayew, who held off a challenge to lay the ball into the Al-Ain striker's path to angle a shot into the far corner.

The goal was Gyan's second in the qualifying campaign.

However, with nine minutes to go, the hosts bounced back when Ibrahima Traore fired in the equaliser.

Despite the result, the Black Stars, who have now drawn two games and won one in the Group E campaign have moved top of the log after Togo defeated Uganda in Kampala.

The Black Stars who host the Guineans in the reverse fixture on Wednesday in Tamale lead Uganda by one point with three more games to go in the qualifying for next year's finals in Morocco.
