The home-based national team crashed out of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) after losing 1-0 to Niger on Sunday.

Ghana, who were losing finalist in the maiden tournament two years ago finished bottom of Group B with no point.

South Africa and Niger advance to the quarter-finals of the competition designed by the Confederation of African Football (Caf) for Africa-based players.
