The Black Princesses of Ghana held their official training at the Lobamba Sohlolo National stadium as they prepare to face Eswatini on Sunday.

Head Coach Yussif Basigi spoke to the media ahead of the third-round qualifier in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

‘Our team is well prepared for the game because we want to qualify to the World Cup and it starts from the qualifiers, so we need to get to the final round and make it to Colombia” Yissif Basigi told the media.

“We are well prepared and well organized for the encounter”

“The reception has been good so far and the weather has been a bit deceptive. We thought it was like what we are used to in Ghana. It was very cold yesterday but the weather changed again today so we don’t know what it has for us on matchday but we are ready to adapt”

“We don’t have much information about the Eswatini team but I think we will get to know them when the match starts”

”We don’t have any injury concern and all our players are fit and ready for the game” ”We have some new players in the squad but they have been in the data base for some time so they were on standby in case of some eventualities”

”I missed the services of some players and I had to bring them in. They are jelling very well with their colleagues because they used to camp intermittently as and when we need them so they are not very new players” Basigi added.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, November 12,2023 at 15H00 local time.
