Players have been issued with their own unique shirt number as Ghana's camp announces the official squad numbers for the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola.

Captain Michael Essien is set to wear the number 8 shirt as Samuel Inkoom takes the number 7 shirt.

Young defender Jonathan Mensah has been handed the number 5 shirt put on by John Mensah who is out injured.

Attacker Ransford Osei who earned a late call up will pull on the number 4 jersey fancied by John Paintsil, another player who would be missing from the competition due to injury.

Kwadwo Asamoah will for the second successive time wear the number 10 jersey.

The Udinese player was handed the same number in the previous CAN tournament in place of the injured Stephen Appiah.
