Ghana has moved up one place to 36th best country in the latest world ranking released by FIFA on Thursday.

The Black Stars with 749 points moved up from 37th position in the global ranking and are 3rd best on the continent.

The Black Stars are still behind Algeria (1st) and AFCON holders Cote d'Ivoire(2nd ), with Senegal and Egypt completing the top five on the continent.

In the Women category, Ghana has also advanced two places to 46th in the world and 2nd best on the African continent, behind Nigeria (1st).
