The Football Association will organise a Licence D Coaching Course in the Central Region from September 14 to 21, 2026, as part of  continued efforts to strengthen grassroots football development across Ghana.

The intensive eight-day programme will take place at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast and will provide participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to begin their journey in professional coaching.

The course will also feature GFA/FIFA Safeguarding training, equipping participants with the knowledge required to protect and promote the welfare of young players.

The programme forms part of the Football Association's broader commitment to raising coaching standards nationwide and developing qualified coaches capable of identifying, nurturing and guiding young football talent.

Participants will undergo both theoretical and practical sessions throughout the course, taking an important first step towards building professional careers in coaching while contributing to the continued growth of grassroots football in Ghana.

GFA Technical Director, Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, and Head of Coach Education, Dr. Prosper Nartey, will supervise the exercise, providing technical leadership and oversight throughout the programme.
