Wa Yasin FC have officially been rewarded with a cash amount of GH₵10,000 following the club’s triumph in the Upper West Regional U17 Championship.

The cash reward was officially presented to the champions by Upper West Regional Football Association (UWRFA) Chairman, Alhaji D.S. Yahaya, and Juvenile League Chairman, Hanif Donkor, in recognition of the team’s achievement.

The fulfilment of the pledge represents a boost for Wa Yaasin FC as the young side continues to build on its regional success and prepares for the next stage of its football journey.

As Upper West Regional U17 champions, Wa Yaasin FC will represent the region at the KIVO/JLAB U17 Colts Inter-Club Championship later this year.

The competition will provide the regional champions with an opportunity to test themselves against other youth teams and showcase their talent on a bigger stage.

Wa Yaasin FC will now turn its attention to preparations for the inter-club championship, hoping to make the Upper West Region proud and build on its success at the regional level.
