Talented defender Harve Gbafa, on Tuesday, emerged the Man of The Match during Ghana’s 3-2 loss to Nigeria in the 3rd place playoff of the WAFU Zone B Under-17 Championship.
In a thrilling encounter against arch-rivals Nigeria, the Golden Strikers defender showcased his prowess on the pitch, scoring twice in a valiant effort that unfortunately ended in a narrow 3-2 defeat for Ghana.
Despite the outcome, Gbafa's contributions did not go unnoticed, as he was once again named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
This accolade marks Gbafa's second Man of the Match award in the tournament, following his stellar display against Benin in a previous fixture.
With a total of three goals to his name, Gbafa has not only proven his defensive capabilities but has also demonstrated his attacking prowess.
