
The Premier League Board has approved that women and children spectators can attend selected premier league matches for free.
Under the PLB directive which is open only to women and children above the age of 12 is intended to attract people to view the local game and boost its patronage.
The unusual precedent which commences this weekend in the Glo Premier League would see women and children spectators gain free access to some selected match venues without paying for tickets.
Three matches have selected for free viewing by women and children spectators this weekend are:
Saturday - October 22, 2011
Match: Mighty Jets vs. Wassaman
Venue: Accra Sports Stadium
Sunday - October 23, 2011
Match: Medeama vs. Liberty
Venue: Sekondi Sports Stadium
Match: AshantiGold vs. Wa All Stars
Venue: Len Clay Stadium
