Four clubs would be engaged in play-offs to make the numbers for teams participating in the Zone 1 & 2 groups of the Division One League.

Each zone in the league would be made of eight teams.

Tamale-based side, Golden Stars would play Berlin FC in a one-off game at the Ohene Djan Stadium on 28 August for the remaining slot in Zone 1.

At the Tema Park, Westham United from Kumasi would take on Windy Professionals in the other play-off match to make up the number in Zone 2.
