Four of the top goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League, who helped their respective teams achieve favourable outcomes with outstanding performances, have been nominated for the Ex-Goalkeepers Award of the Month for April.

Goalkeeper Ernest Kussi of Bibiani Gold Stars was included made the shortlist after his team finished the month with 10 points out of a possible 15 and is currently ranked 9th in the standings. In five league games, the team won three, tied one, lost one, and conceded four goals.

Andrews Owusu of the Accra Lions has also been nominated. The Accra-based side kept three clean sheets, conceded three goals with three wins, drawn one, and lost one from five matches in the month.

FC Samartex 1996 goalkeeper Kofi Baah is on the list with two clean sheets, three wins, conceded four goals, drawn one, and lost one after five games for the league leaders.

Heart of Lions Lawrence Osei completes the nominee’s list for the best goalkeeper award for the month of April. He kept two clean sheets and conceded three goals.He recorded two wins, one draw, and two losses in five league matches.
