The Football Association has released the list of referees and assistant referees scheduled to undergo a comprehensive training, medical, and fitness assessment ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 football season.
The selected match officials will begin with medical examinations at designated regional health facilities, which will be coordinated by the Medical Committee of the Football Association.
Following the medical assessments, the referees will proceed to participate in the mandatory national fitness and theoretical (writing) tests, which will be conducted across two zonal centers, Northern and Southern sectors, to facilitate accessibility and efficiency.
The Southern Sector fitness test is scheduled to take place from August 8 to 10, 2025, while the Northern Sector will undergo their evaluations between August 15 and 17, 2025.
Officials who successfully pass all stages of the assessment will be eligible to officiate in key competitions organized under the Football Association's umbrella. These include the Ghana Premier League, Malta Guinness Women's Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, and the prestigious MTN FA Cup.
Here are the list of proposed referees and assistant referees selected for the rigorous process.
