Ghana ended their participation in the mens football competition at the All Africa Games when they pulled a 1-1 draw in the final group game against Tunisia.

Ghana, needed to avoid another defeat in the competition after having lost two previous games.

The male Olympic team, fell back after Ben Amar Karim beat he goalkeeper Eric Nii Baah from the box in the 20th minute but Ghana rallied back to draw level on the 26th minute mark through Kwadwo Asamoah.

Ghana picked up bronze in the last edition of the competition.

The All Africa Games, which represents Africa’s version of the Olympic Games draws lots of countries to participate in a host of sporting events is been hosted by Algeria for the second time after 1978.
