Nkoranza Warriors will clash with leaders Nsoatreman FC on Match Day seven of the Division One League in a contest between the first team on the table against the fifth placed team in Zone One.

The home team – Nkoranza Warriors have 9 points after six matches in the Zone and go into battle against one of the two unbeaten sides in the Zone who have amassed 14 points – won 4 and drawn 2 in their opening six matches.

Nkoranza Warriors snatched a point from Berekum as they came from behind to draw 1-1 against Arsenal at the Golden City Park. Ebenezer Kumi Adu scored in the second half to cancel Kusi Pandrous’ opener. Nsoatreman FC will aim to protect their unbeaten run in the League and keep hold of their place at the top of the table. But the home record of Warriors presents a difficult task for Nsoatreman to surmount even though it won’t come without a fight.

Young Apostles have gone five matches without defeat but have been badly hit by the number of draws recorded especially on the road. The Sunyani based side are in fourth place 10 points – 4 points off the top having demonstrated character and desire in the League.

Emmanuel Yeboah scored against League leaders Nsoatreman on Sunday – his 7th in 6 matches in the on-going campaign as he netted in the second half to cancel out Ali Alhassan’s opener in the 27th minute.

Apostles will play as hosts of Brong Ahafo United in a derby on Sunday. BA United are currently struggling in the League as they sit in 15th place in the table with only 4 points after six matches - they have won 1, drawn 1 and lost 3. Young Apostles will start as favourites judging from their output in the League but BA United’s tradition at the Coronation Park presents us a tricky duel in the Sunyani derby on Sunday.

Dreams Tamale have gone three matches without a win and find themselves in a dicey situation going into this hurdle against city rivals Tamale City.

The newly promoted side won their first two matches but have fallen down the perking order in recent weeks having lost two and drawn 1 of their last three matches. Six points separate the two teams with Tamale City having an urge over their city rivals heading into the contest.
