The 2026 GFA Elite U15 Girls Championship is set to kick off on Friday, June 5, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, just two days after the successful conclusion of the Elite U15 Boys Championship.
The competition, which forms part of FIFA's Talent Development Scheme (TDS), will bring together the best young female football talents from across the country as all ten Regional Football Associations present their U15 girls' select teams for the championship.
Scheduled to run from June 5 to June 10, the tournament will provide a platform for emerging female footballers to showcase their abilities while competing against some of the brightest talents from the various regions.
The championship is expected to play a key role in the Association's efforts to identify, nurture and develop young female players for future national team assignments. Previous editions have served as an important pathway for talented players to progress within Ghana's youth football structure.
Beyond the competition itself, the tournament will offer coaches, scouts and technical officials the opportunity to assess players and monitor their development as part of the FA's long-term talent identification programme.
The Elite U15 Girls Championship continues to be one of the flagship youth development initiatives under FIFA's Talent Development Scheme, reflecting the growing investment in grassroots women's football across the country.
With six days of competitive football anticipated, fans and stakeholders can look forward to exciting matches and the emergence of future stars of Ghana women's football at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
