Division One campaigners, FC Nania have confirmed they will take their place in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.

The second tier side, guided by former Ghana international Abedi Ayew Pele secured their place in the continental club competition after winning the MTN FA Cup.

Abedi says the club will embrace the idea of participating in the continent's second prestigious club competition, which will be their debut.

"We will prepare physically, mentally and tactically for it and then afterwards we will take care of the financials involved," he adds.

"What we won't do is to buy players with a view to Africa. I will rely on the young ones who have brought us here."

FC Nania caused a major upset this season when they won the Cup competition 1-0, beating Asante Kotoko in extra-time.
