Abdul Karim Zito, head coach of FC AshantiGold’04, has been named NASCO Coach of the Month for March after taking charge of the club in mid-February.
Zito secured the award ahead of strong competition from Ranford Kudjoe of Victory Club Warriors and Brimah Abdallah of Port City FC.
Under Zito’s leadership, FC AshantiGold’04 currently sit top of the Zone Two league table. His experience and tactical discipline have transformed the Obuasi-based side into one of the most dominant teams in the division this season.
He guided the team to four consecutive league victories, keeping clean sheets in three of those matches. The run included a commanding 4-0 away win over Sefwi All Stars FC, widely regarded as one of the strongest sides in Zone Two this season.
As part of the award, Abdul Karim Zito will receive a 32-inch NASCO television set, sponsored by Electroland Ghana Limited.
