
The Football Association will organize a one-day seminar on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, for all 18 Premier League clubs ahead of the 2025/26 season. The session is designed to strengthen clubs’ understanding and application of the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols as well as the Premier League Regulations 2025.
The seminar will focus on the roles and responsibilities of clubs, their management and designated safety and security officers, with an emphasis on ensuring safe, secure and smoothly run matchday experiences.
A key feature of the program will be an interactive open session where facilitators and participants will analyze real-life scenarios and explore practical approaches to implementing the approved protocols.
In addition, the seminar will highlight the importance of educating fans, coaches, players and other club staff on the official Code of Conduct and best practices before, during and after matches.
The session will also cover the compliance and enforcement framework within the protocols, detailing the processes and expectations required of clubs. Discussions will extend to how clubs can build effective working relationships with match officials and security personnel to enhance safety and uphold integrity during competitions.
The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season kicks off on Friday, September 12, as giants Hearts of Oak welcome league debutants Hohoe United.
