FA launches media outlets

The Ghana Football Association would on Tuesday launched its official website and newspaper in Accra.

Ghana's popularity has grown in following a successful World Cup debut in Germany and people continue to follow Ghana’s success story via the web.

Sector minister, Papa Owusu Ankomah and his deputy, O.B. Amoah were present at the launch of the ceremony.

Presently, the website www.ghanafa.org records over 50,000 page views per day.

The official website seeks to hook the world onto the happenings of football in the country by providing regular updates from the FA’s headquarters.

The FA has also introduced, The Game, the official website for the premier league – www.ghanaleague.com.

Now, the Ghana Football Association has added GFA News, the official newspaper of the football body to its media outlets.

The creation of these mediums is to facilitate the information flow from the football body’s offices.

It is also in line with the four-year Business and Development plan of the Football Association.
