FA confirms Ghana's World Cup base

The Ghana Football Association today confirmed that the Black Stars will be based at the Rhoode Valley for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Senior officials of the FA this week completed their final inspection of the facility north of Pretoria that would accommodate the Ghanaian delegation in June.

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac prepare his side from the secured in White River facility which is a mere forty-five minutes from Johannesburg City Centre and Oliver Tambo International Airport.

The World Cup runs between June 11 and July 11 with Ghana placed in Group D together with Germany, Serbia and Australia.
