The Ghana Football Association is seeking the assistance of FIFA to unravel the source of the faked international transfer certificate that was used to facilitate the transfer of player, Shilla Alhassan to Gabon.

Ghana’s call on the sport governing body has been necessitated by the failure of the Gabonese Football Federation to reveal the source behind the issuance of the international transfer certificate.

The international transfer certificate used in facilitating the transfer of the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker bears the forged signature of FA general secretary, Kofi Nsiah.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker’s departure from the club has been shrouded in secrecy with accusations and counter claims being traded by former club representatives.

The player who returned to Ghana this year debunked reports that he secured a move to Gabon where he played for FC 105 without an international transfer certificate.
