The Ghana Football Association will make changes to the technical set up of the junior team, the Black Starlets within the next 48 hours after accepting the resignation of Fred Osam Duodu.

The FA on Tuesday accepted the veteran manager's decision to end his relationship with the junior national team.

Fred Osam Duodu, who has been preparing the team for next month’s FIFA U-17 World Cup resigned his post on Saturday, cited his decision to quit as personal.

The departing coach qualified Ghana for the World Cup after leading the Black Starlets to the third position at the African U-17 Championship hosted by Togo in March 2007.

Osam Duodu took over the reins at the Black Starlets following the seven-game suspension of Bashiru Hayford by the Confederation of African Football – CAF, for an offence during the African qualifying campaign.

Ghana, two-time World champions play in Group F’s opening game against Trinidad and Tobago on August 20 at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup to be hosted by South Korea. The group also includes Germany and Colombia.
