The GFA Executive Committee have upheld the Match review Panel’s recommendation to ban Referee Silas Okine and Assistant referee David Agyin in respect of the Premier League match between Olympics and Inter Allies.

After the First Capital Plus Premier League Match day 10 game, the Match Review panel maintained that Olympics should have been awarded a penalty kick and not a corner kick.

The panel’s recommendation also stated that it was clear that Assistant Referee David Agyin misdirected Referee Silas Okine thereby denying Accra Great Olympics a clear penalty award.

Both Referee Silas Okine and Assistant Referee David Agyin’s petitions have been dismissed. However, their ban expired after Match day 14.
