The Football Association has proudly announced that Emmanuel Lawson, eFootball Manager of the Ghana National Team, the Black Asteroids, has been awarded a FIFAe Coaching Certificate following his participation in the FIFAe Summit held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 17 to 19.

The certificate was conferred after Lawson successfully completed an intensive online coaching programme delivered over an extended period. With this achievement, he becomes the first FIFAe licensed referee within Ghana’s esports ecosystem.

The FIFAe coaching programme is designed to equip participants with advanced knowledge in esports team management, player development, tactical preparation, mental conditioning, performance analysis and the professional standards required to compete at the highest international level.

Beyond his role with the Black Asteroids, Emmanuel Lawson also serves as Finance Manager at the Ghana Football Association, where he has been an integral member of the finance department for over five years.
