New Edubiase edge closer to safety after coming from a goal down to beat Hasaacas 2:1 at the Len Clay Stadium in their penultimate home game of the season.

Frederick Quayson shocked the hosts when he fired Hasaacas into the lead in the 34th minute but Bernard Ofori hit back in the 45th minute with the equalizer.

Alhassan Nuhu missed an opportunity to give New Edubiase the lead when he missed a 52nd penalty.

With the match heading for a frustrating draw for the homeside, Latif Anabila gave Edubiase a dramatic late win in the 90th minute.

Edubiase are still 11th on the table but the win is significant considering that the all their relegation rivals, except Hearts of Oak won.
