Accra Great Olympics’ flying start to the season will be put to test Thursday when they host Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs in their match day 4 Premier League fixture at the Accra Sports stadium.

The ‘Dade Boys’ have picked back-to-back wins against Asante Kotoko and WAFA in their last two outings at the Accra stadium.

They currently lie third on the League with 10 points, one game adrift of the top team, Karela United FC who sit at the top with 11 points.

The Wonder Club face Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday highly tipped to bag the points.

Prior to their recent heroics was a 2-0 loss to Liberty professionals at the Dansoman Ibrahim Sly Tetteh park. But That came on the back of a comprehensive three nil win against Legon Cities and a draw (1-1) against Medeama SC at Tarkwa on the opening day of the season. No marquee signings but obviously head coach Annor Walker is miraculously making bricks without straws.

Ex-Ghana youth international and former TP Mazembe star Gladson Awako has been sparkling for them with some heart-on-sleeves performance.

Ebusua Dwarfs last week picked up their first win on the road following an outstanding showing against Legon Cities in Accra in a match day six tie.

This will be their third away fixture of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League after a 2-0 defeat at Techiman Eleven Wonders and a brilliant 2-1 win over Legon Cities.

Their season opener was a 2-2 draw with cross-town rivals Elmina Sharks in a match which goalkeeper Razak Issah hogged the headline by scoring a free kick at the death to rescue a point for his team.

Captain Dennis Korsah and Benjamin Acquah haver advanced their course this time giving them a sigh, with some breath-taking displays.

The game promises to be exciting as both sides have yet to lose a game at the Accra sports stadium this season. Great Olympics have won all their games at the Accra stadium beating Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko and WAFA.

They come up against a side whose last visit to the venue ended in glory with a 2-1 win against Legon Cities.

The Christmas eve fixture is scheduled for 3pm kick off Thursday, December 24, 2020.
