Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs thrashed basement side Young Redbull 4-1 to keep the pressure on New Edubiase United in Zone Two of the Access Bank Division One League. Enoch Afram scored a brace in the 23rd and 45th minutes to give Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs a 2-0 cushioning. Emmanuel Osei added the third goal two minutes after the break as Raphael Gyan scored in the 76th minute to put the icing on the cake for Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs before Kojo Aggrey pulled one back for Young Redbull in the 89th minute.
Another contender, Basake Holy Stars recorded their first away victory over Venomous Vipers in Cape Coast to end their 7 match winless run. Abdul Hussein Bashiru scored a brace in either half in the 14th and 76th minutes to help his side secure all the maximum points.
Still in the Zone, Swedru All Blacks moved 8th in the Zone Two table after beating Future Stars 2-0 at home in the Access Bank Division One League. Victor Mends and Shadrack Arthur scored for Swedru All Blacks in the 39th and 89th minutes to give All Blacks the points.
